🎱🏆 Week 12: 1 Down, 2 To Play 🏆🎱
Another week done and with just two games left in the season there’s still plenty to play for.
Division 1 is shaping up as a two‑horse race between Three Tuns and WR Sports A, with Three Tuns holding a commanding lead and one hand firmly on the trophy.
Division 2 promises an exciting finish. WR All Stars are now favourites after opening up a lead, while second place is finely balanced between Staines Cons New, Egham & Hythe Youth, Sunbury Con Club A, and an outside chance still remains for Eddies.
Some good results this week really shook things up!

🏆 Division 1 Highlights
Shepperton Sports 5 - 7 WR Sports A
WR Sports A extended their unbeaten run with a hard‑fought 7–5 win, but still lost ground on Three Tuns, who recorded a dominant 12–0 victory.
The opening six frames were evenly contested. Wins for WR Sports A came from Rob Malik (x2) and Ben Reading, while Shepperton replied through Terry Linacer, Lito Estrella and Allyn Sutton.
The second half proved decisive. Gary Weltiner gave Shepperton a strong start, but WR Sports A responded with wins from Ben Reading (x2), Rob Malik, and a superb reverse dish from Ethan Coates against Terry Linacer to seal the match. Lito Estrella picked up a consolation point in frame 12.
The defeat leaves Shepperton Sports 11 points adrift of NRS in the battle to secure their Division 1 status - a tough challenge made harder with NRS also holding a game in hand.
Sunbury Con Club B 5 - 7 SS&NR
SS&NR are beginning to build momentum in their fight to avoid relegation and still have a slim chance with three games left to play, including a game in hand, following a solid 7–5 win over Sunbury Con Club B.
A dominant start in the opening six frames laid the foundations, with Greg O’Mahony (x2) and Jaiden Lofthouse (x2) on the scoresheet for SS&NR. Sunbury Con Club B responded through Paddy McLaughlin and Chris Armstrong.
The second half was far more evenly contested, but Greg O’Mahony proved decisive again, securing two further wins, most notably frame 10, which clinched the overall victory and kept SS&NR’s survival hopes alive.
If SS&NR can maintain this recent run of form, they may yet pull off a great escape.
Three Tuns 12 - 0 Staines Cons D
Three Tuns were once again in dominant form, and this time it was a strong Staines Cons D side who felt the full force. A huge 12–0 win all but secures the title for Three Tuns, although they still have WR Sports A to play - a fixture that could yet have a major impact on the final standings.
The wins were shared across the team, with Martin Court (x3), George Smith (x2), Daz Wallace (x2), Rob Mutter (x2) and Leighton Cumber (x3) all on the scoresheet.
The heavy defeat leaves Staines Cons D sitting fourth, now four points behind Egham & Hythe Whites, who also have two games in hand.

🏆 🏆 Division 2 Highlights
Eddies 8 - 4 Sunbury Con Club A
Eddies are in fine form at the moment, closing the gap in the table and giving themselves a small chance of promotion. Once again, the standout performer was Hiss Salih, who recorded a dish for the second week running.
Sunbury Con Club A, still without their captain, started well and saw the match finely poised at 3–3 after the opening frames. However, the second half proved to be the turning point. Hiss Salih produced a superb reverse dish against Shaun Meehan, swinging the momentum firmly in Eddies’ favour.
Further wins followed from Richard Hurley (x2), Jon Martin and Chris Atwell to secure the victory. Shaun Meehan did manage a consolation point for Sunbury Con Club A.
The result sees Sunbury drop to fourth place, now five points behind both Egham & Hythe Youth and Staines Cons New. With two games still to play, their promotion hopes are far from over.
London Stone 7 - 5 Egham & Hythe Youth
London Stone were more than up for this encounter and produced a strong performance to secure an excellent 7–5 win over Egham & Hythe Youth, dealing a small blow to both the title and promotion hopes. Egham & Hythe Youth were not as clinical as they have been in recent weeks - particularly notable with Mark Court losing both of his games.
Full credit goes to Chris Butler, who was outstanding throughout his games against Mark Court. His superb break‑and‑dish in frame two set the tone and got London Stone off to a flying start.
London Stone raced into an early 6–2 lead, with wins coming from Chris Butler (x2), Danny Godfrey, Andy Henson, Nick McDonald and Chris Docwra. There were several key moments where the match could have swung either way, but overall London Stone fully deserved the victory.
The result leaves Egham & Hythe Youth level on points with Staines Cons New in second place, while allowing WR All Stars to open up a gap at the top of the table. With two games remaining, Egham & Hythe Youth will be looking to bounce back quickly and reignite their push for promotion.
WR All Stars 8 - 4 Jolly Butcher
WR All Stars recorded an impressive 8–4 win this week, opening up a clear gap in the title race and turning hope into real belief after a huge result. Jolly Butcher made a bright start, racing into a 2–0 lead thanks to wins from Jason Andijah and Keith Rozario.
WR All Stars then found their rhythm and quickly swung the momentum, moving into a strong 5–2 lead. Leo Cooper pulled one back with a win over Joe Delcourt, but Tom Parsons responded by securing a crucial point to give WR All Stars control of the match.
Further wins followed, with Michael Punter the standout performer on the night. His three victories lifted him to second in the Leading Player stats and played a key role in putting his side firmly on course for the title. Keith Rozario continued his good form with two wins from two, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
This victory leaves WR All Stars perfectly set up in the title race and firmly in the driving seat.
Staines Cons New 9 - 3 Egham & Hythe Ladies
Staines Cons New bounced back from last week’s loss to put themselves firmly back in the mix with an impressive 9–3 win over Egham & Hythe Ladies. The Ladies were short‑handed this week, fielding just three players - Marsha Rogers, Maria Griffiths‑Pressman and Amber Pressman - but still made a positive start when Marsha Rogers claimed an early win against Matty Clark.
Dean Casey then got Staines Cons New on the scoresheet before wins followed from Grant Baker (x2) and Steve Kent, who impressed throughout. Steve Kent produced a superb break‑and‑dish and finished the night with three wins from three, helping to build momentum for his side.
Holding a 4–2 lead after the opening six frames, Staines Cons New took full control in the second half, winning five of the final six frames to wrap up an emphatic victory.
The result lifts Staines Cons New into joint second place with Egham & Hythe Youth and keeps them well in the promotion hunt as we enter the final weeks.
