Cup resumed this week with the return of BlackBall rules and still lots to play for.
------------------------------------------------------------
🏆 Group A:
- Egham & Hythe Ladies 5 - 8 NRS:
-
Egham & Hythe Ladies were unfortunate not to take more from this match, with NRS ultimately coming out on top. An early 3–2 advantage after the opening five frames was wiped out following the first doubles, leaving things finely balanced. However, NRS found another level from there, winning five of the last seven games to seal an 8–5 victory.

- Egham & Hythe Youth 7 - 6 SS&NR Club:
- Egham & Hythe Youth were short on numbers this week, but still managed to get the job done against SS&NR. SS&NR made the stronger start, building a 5–3 lead after the first set of singles and the doubles. However, the momentum shifted in the second set of singles, with Egham & Hythe Youth winning four of the five frames to turn the match around and seal the victory. A special mention for Max James in frame 10, producing a superb break-and-dish against Greg O’Mahony.
----------------------
- London Stone 3 - 10 Three Tuns:
-
Division 1 Champions Three Tuns kept their strong run going with an impressive 10–3 away win over London Stone. A solid start saw them take a 4–1 lead after the opening five singles, before pulling further clear by winning six of the final eight frames, 2 from the Doubles and then another 4 Singles to comfortably wrap up the victory.
-
----------------------
- Staines Cons New 4 - 9 Egham & Hythe Whites:
- Egham & Hythe Whites came out the blocks strongly, taking all five of the opening singles. The momentum shifted when Staines Cons New responded by sweeping the three doubles to give themselves a real chance of a comeback. Perry Baker then edged the next singles to narrow it to 5–4, but Egham & Hythe Whites quickly regained control, winning the remaining frames to secure the result. A shoutout as well to Luke Emmett, who produced a brilliant reverse dish against Steve Kent in frame 12.
🏆🏆 Group B:
- Jolly Butcher 5 - 8 Staines Cons D:
-
Jolly Butcher made the stronger start, winning four of the opening five singles, but were unable to maintain that momentum. Staines Cons D hit back by taking all three doubles, sparking their comeback and setting them on course for the win. They carried this form into the second set of singles, winning the first four frames before Leo Cooper pulled one back for Jolly Butcher in the final game of the night.

----------------------
- Sunbury Con Club B 6 - 7 Sunbury Con Club A:
- A Sunbury derby went right down to the wire, with the A team edging it in a final-frame decider. Shaun Meehan held his nerve to defeat Captain Chris Armstrong and secure a 7–6 victory along with the local bragging rights. It was tight throughout, with the match level at 4–4 after the first set of singles and the doubles. Sunbury Con Club B briefly took the lead again in the second set of singles, but it wasn’t enough, as the A team rallied to win the final three frames and seal the result.
----------------------
- WR All Stars 3 - 10 Shepperton Sports:
- The shock result of the night saw the recently crowned Division 2 Champions suffer a heavy defeat to Shepperton Sports, who had themselves only just been relegated. A standout performance from Shepperton Sports put them firmly in control early on, building a 6–2 lead after the first set of singles and the three doubles. They carried that momentum into the final set, winning four of the five singles to wrap up a comprehensive and eye-catching victory.
